The Buddy Build - '48 Chevy

Hey All - I started this build almost 5 years ago for a buddy of mine. It was supposed to be a quick chassis swap onto an S10 frame and leave the body and interior alone...well, as you will see that plan radically changed over time!

It started out fairly stock (and rusty) with a later 235. Now it's running an S10 chassis, 4-wheel disc brakes, 350TBI, 700r4, A/C, etc. Raised the bed 2" and dropped extended the bedsides down. Fabbed a custom tunnel. It's basically new everywhere.

Now I'm at the point of finishing that long list of little things to get it on the road and to my buddy in Charlotte, NC.

Pics as acquired...
