Question for when its painted!

Hi.

Later on the truck will be fully painted. We are raising the bed floor and have made the frame for the bed bolt on to the fenders just to have the possibility to disassembly the bed like original.

But then it hit me, how the F should we be able to put it back together without scratching the paint.

So how did you guys do when you painted it. Had the bed put together or in pieces? If its in pieces it gets paint everywhere..

Just dont know wich way to go. Weld the frame to the bed sides and just have it in one piece
