Back from the dead 66 GMC in NC
Truck is a 66 GMC i bought it totaled and have been bringing it back from the dead since.
I am new to the boards so first off, Hello. Now that that's out of the way here is my truck. https://www.facebook.com/nick.feher....e=3&uploaded=5 I bought the truck as you can see from the pictures in less than perfect shape lol It has 97k original mile on it and i bought it from the 2nd owner (he owned the truck 6 month) someone ran a stoplight and tko'ed the truck I have a friend that does restoration work for a living and we made a deal to fix the frame. Next step for me was to get a step side bed and get it running. I did so and had it running with the straight six and 3 on the tree inside a 3 months after buying it. Drove the truck 3 times, Completely fell in love with it in every way Except the manual breaks. The wife and I went to the rod run in Pigeon Forge TN a couple months ago and saw a bunch of beautiful trucks. Next thing you know that same week i tore the truck back apart and started a BIG swap. Unfortunately my phone took a crap half way through the build so i don't have all the pictures of the 5 lug conversion and the engine trans swap but those things have been done. Currently i need to finish wiring it, pick up my drive shaft next week from Asheville Powertrain then install it, put new PS lines on, finish exhaust, then reassemble the body and get the bugs ironed out.
