72tutone Registered User Join Date: May 2010 Location: St.Louis Posts: 646	Upper ball joint boot Guys, I have what I hope is a simple question. This is a pic of the upper control arm and ball joint upside down. What you are seeing is the dust boot. Does the dust boot have to fit all the way down till it meets the control arm? I greased it hoping it would slide down some and even tried a 42mm socket to drive it down and it isn't going. These are raysbestos prof grade ball joints if that helps. Attached Images
