Pertronix dist help

I could use some help with installing the Pertronix billet dist. in the new engine I am installing in my '68 C10.
I've already installed a Jeg's starter because I discovered the 283 starter I took off was not compatable with the 350 crate engine. I taped up the wire going to the "R" terminal on the solenoid.
Now my question as to the new dist. can I wire it up to the coil as shown or do I need to wire it up differently because of the resistance or ballast wire as stated in the directions?
Thanks!
