K1500 Brake question

Hello:
Recently purchased a 71 K5 Blazer. The brakes seem to pump up and get harder to push as I drive. It still stops decent. 1 out of 15 times when I touch the pedal I feel a vibration/ I know a growl is a sound but that kind of shaky grind. I plan on bleeding the brakes. The ones that I have experienced with air in the lines had a lapse or flat spot when you braked. Because of the feeling in the petal could I have a booster issue. Sorry for the ramble
Thanks
