Gauge temperature sender

Okay, I bought an alleged gauge temp sender from LMC...threaded it into the lower t-stat housing and recorded the following temperatures (using an IR thermometer on the housing) and resistances using an ohmmeter between the connector post and the base of the sender:

Degrees. Resistance

195. 120

180. 147

150. 221

129. 285

99. 400

Now, from this site:

http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/sm...?topic=25339.0

the specs for the 67-72 temp gauge are:

Cold. 350 Ω
Operating temp. 76 Ω
Hot. 51 Ω

I've checked several temp gauges that I have and they all check out according to those specs, which means that the sender I installed ain't gonna work with any of my gauge clusters...so....

Where can I get a temp sender that has the right specs?????
