steering column rebuild help
The shift mechanism on my 71 c10 is very sloppy so I plan to do a rebuild. Ive found assorted bearings and spacers from the usual catalogs but I am in need of a "selector plate gate" as it is called in factory assembly manual. There is significant wear on this piece preventing crisp shifter movement. Other than junk yards any ideas on sourcing this? also, any suggestions or tips for the column rebuild itself, based on your experiences?
