Oil temp question
Just a quick question with my 6.0 in my suburban i was gonna use the original oil cooler or the one meant for the 6.0 but neither is gonna be easy so i found an oil cooler adapter 3 to be exact one without a thermostat or one with a 180 or 212 now my question is being in a mud truck which i will finally be able to run hard for a long time should i bother with a thermostat controlled engine oil temp or just go without one?
To be exact here they are http://www.improvedracing.com/cooler...ines-p-68.html to me this is an easy option to put an oil cooler on or some sensors and what not especially with jic fitting. I use jic all the time at work but our stuff is all hydraulic so its putting a lot more pressure through so this should be fine plus its pretty easy order some fittings/hose and a cooler and be done i would like to run an oil cooler regardless if its thermostat controlled or not.
