If you are going to keep the flathead 6 remove the plugs and dump some Marvel mystery oil in each cylinder and let it set for a week then turn the engine by hand to see if it rotates. Geesh Dennis that's very generous of you. I'll put that offer (V8) in my back pocket. I'm going to start by taking your advise and work on getting the 6 cyl going first. I was told that the trim was in the truck with extra stuff but have not yet taken inventory of it. There's a big bundle of trim and a couple pieces in which I have no clue where they go. Thank you sir will keep posted!
