Motor mount direction

I got some energy suspension clamshell inserts. The clamshells have been off for awhile and I didnt think there where any alignments that matter...

I do remember that when I removed the mounts and clamshells there was only a bottom bolt on one side and it was smaller than the others. Probably because a bigger one wouldnt fit through the misaligned hole.

This is a SB350. The truck came with a 402 so I wonder after reading about differences between the mounts on BB vs SB maybe thats related.

Furthermore theres no way to get the inserts to match the directions unless you flip the clam shell around in which case none of the holes line up.

This guy seemed to have a similar issue.

Are these not stock? Any info on them? I drilled the hole out and ran a bolt through but it makes me wonder which way is up etc.
