Does the side the alternator on matter?
Hey, I working on a rebuild on a '72. It's actually a Blazer but I figured more eye here. It has a 350 small block and I'm building a small block stroker for it. My question is on Alternator position. You can buy mounts for either the Drivers (lh) or Passenger (rh) side and even get a wire harness for either side. Truck does not have Air conditioning and it doesn't have to look stock to me. Is one side better than the other for one reason or another.Sorry if this is a dumb question but I thought I may as well ask before I commit one way or the other.
thanks for any help.
