fuel return line

I am finishing the install of a 454 in my 71 c10. I have a 140 gph electric fuel pump feeding a edelbrock performer carb. Its my daily driver so itll be on the road regularly. should I run a return fuel line? The motor is bored 30, 500 lift cam, RPM air gap manifold, 71 LS6 domed pistons, 118cc heads decked .010.
