Control Arm Bushing Question

I'm in the process of replacing my upper and lower control arm bushings with poly bushings. I have the old bushings out and I've got one upper mostly done before stopping for the night. I'll be back at it tomorrow.

My question is about the new bushings seating all the way. I have the outer shells seated as far as they will go. When I grease them and the bushings, I can't seem to get the new bushings to seat all the way against the outer shells. There's about an 1/8 of an inch between them. Is this something that I should worry about, or will it correct itself when I torque down the nut and washer when they're one the truck?
