Question Caprice rear disk question. . . . .

Ok, I can get a entire rear end from a mid to late 90's Caprice from the local bone yard for $150. It has rear disks. I have read that you can use the rear rotors on a 12 bolt, but can the entire Caprice rear disk set up be used on a truck 12 bolt? Will the backing plates bolt to the truck rear end? The Caprice is kinda buried in the dirt so I really can't get any measurments that would be any good to find out. Plus $$$ is real tight right now, so I don't wanna end up with a $150 boat anchor sitting in my garage. Does any one have any input on this situation? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.
