Cool Hi. New Here.

Hello. I just traded my 92 Harley Fatboy for a 1967 C10 Short Bed Stepside with the original 283 and Powerglide. Owner said it has 64k original miles but who can really tell? Lol.

Its not mint by any means. Interior is really clean. Seat has been reupholstered, new carpet etc... Truck has been repainted. Has some rust coming through in a few spots. Outer rockers are getting soft. Still has the 4 drum brake setup which I plan on swapping out with a drop spindle/ disc kit.

Power steering was added to it.

I foot pad part of the gas pedal is missing. Has new tires, new dual exhaust, new 2 barrel carb.

Its missing the rear plate bracket, backup lamps and plate light, all of which I ordered from LMC and ebay. Just waiting for them to arrive.

Two things that I notice right off the bat is 1. The brake pedal is so dang high it drives me nuts. Is there a solution to this?? 2. There is no room for me behind the steering wheel. Im a big guy and it sucks. Lol. I ordered a Grant Mahogany 377 14" steering wheel and adapter, so I know that will help some. And I read on here while waiting for membership activation that I can slide the column forward which I plan on doing.

It runs great but last night I went to gas station and went to leave and it wouldn't stay idling. Kept stalling. I had to pull the choke out about an 1/8" to keep it running. Maybe the idle is to low? I have no idea.

Oh, and the bed just has plywood strips in it instead of the nice hardwood that should be in it. Ill replace that sooner than later.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Pic time!
