advice on removing rattle can paint

The previous owner of my 62 c-10 rattle canned over the original awesome mint green or whatever the name for it is. Most of the sections are chipping away revealing the original paint and i'd like to get it all back to that and let it patina from there. Any advice or tips for trying to get off the few layers of rattle can and not hurting the og paint all that much? I'm not too worried about going too deep into the og green paint, but just looking for a method that might not take too much paint off and also not take all summer to remove. Thanks so much!
