Replacing/Finding a '91 Suburban 2WD R2500 Center Link
I recently purchased the front crossmember and steering/suspension from a 1991 r2500 2wd suburban to put into my 1960 C10 truck to get springs and disk brakes. Before I was able to get the parts, the steering box was removed from the 91 by cutting the end off of the center link. The seller said I would be able to find the center link at any auto parts store.
I now need to replace the center link but for the life of me cannot seem to find the appropriate part number for a replacement. Would the center link from any of the 73-87(91) trucks or suburbans fit? I was able to find a DS1047 from a 82 Jimmy at a local AutoZone but I keep finding conflicting information about fitment. Is there another direction for me to look? Am I stuck digging through my local Pick-A-Part? Thank you in advance! |
