My steering column swap 1972 C10

Just a heads up so that others know, just started a month ago on my C10 auto trans and eng. swap, been working on the fit up of this donor motor and trans the truck had a 327 with a three speed. Shifter on the column had been moved to the floor anyway part of the fit up requires that I change the steer column out well I should have been patient , one of the members had a column for sale for 75.00 but I wasn't sure about shipping pay pal etc so I ordered one from LMC truck parts ,service was good and the column arrived on time etc. we'll the steer column from Lmc was 499.00 when I received it it was packed in a CPP labeled box ,when I got on CPPs web site and looked up that same column it sells for 325.00 any way that's a lesson learned I guess ,as a mater of fact the trans cross member and the shift linkage was also a CPP product
