When only NOS will make it done right!
There are a few things in my restorations that just has to be NOS or mint used just because you look at it everytime you are sit behind the steering wheel. When I saw these I knew this was going to be one expensive auction since I am just about to the point to put my original doors back together on my 66 Custom Cab shortbox. I probably was bidding against one of the Lambrecht truck owners but I chose to spend my money on these nos pieces for my build.
I'm not bragging I just wanted to point out I just can't believe the prices these days for NOS pieces and that being said so very few good correct NOS pieces left to find. On the inflationary side of buying those nos treasures for the last 40 years it is a good thing too as I can sell and trade some of my NOS at today's prices to offset what I still need to buy today. Can you just imagine what some of those early truck restorations some 20 years ago using total GM over the counter or then discontinued NOS parts would be worth in parts alone today? Mark
