Sanity check here. lol.

Well a discussion quickly led to an engine deconstruction earlier in my garage with a local member IHA1992 and we tore his factory 283 apart this evening. I looked at the conn rods and found them stamped like it had been apart before. Did the GM plants stamp their conn rod uppers and lowers in house or no? My 292 wasn't stamped so I figured I'd ask you gurus and your wealth of knowledge.

That's the thing about a Chevrolet, no matter how they look, whether it be a trailer queen or a good ol' used farm truck, no other truck on the road will always look that damn good wearing a Bowtie.
