Bowden Cable Adjustment

Does anyone have any guidance on adjusting the three Bowden cables that control heat/defrost/air?

I'm in the process of puting things back together and the range of motion of the control arms on the front of the controller doesn't line up well with the various flaps in the ductwork being fully left/right or up/down. Is it just a matter of sliding the cable clamps that screw down further up or down each cable?

The truck is a '72 Custom Camper C20 w/Air.

Thanks.
