is this 67 68 gmc tailgate worth this price?

I am looking for a really really nice 67 68 gmc small letter gate for my build. I am not sure if this one is worth what he is asking. Any opinions. I have onre but mybody man said for the cost of repairing that one I would be better off spending the cash on a straight, clean survivor gate. I asked him if he would ship in a wooden crate.
