50 3100 Dropped on S10 Frame, Super Low, Patina...

Well I guess it's time to start a build thread and introduce myself... I'm David, in Jacksonville FL... I just picked up a 1950 3100 1/2 ton, on an S10 frame... to finish up my way... I'm also a photographer so there will be tons of pics from photoshoots in this thread as it progresses. Back to the truck... it's Patina with some left over original Dark Green, She's currently sporting the 4.3 and 700r4... which will turn into a 350 as some point... She's still got the original seat, springs, and fabric with two tears in the bottom the back is in great shape... I was pretty amazed at that. My plans for the truck short term... I'm currently working on sealing up the floors, and 50 sq feet of Dynamat is on it's way here so quiet her down a bit inside... I plan on painting the interior and having the seat, carpet and door panels re-done here real soon... and just clearing the outside to preserve the patina... Airride is in the near future as well... It's going to wait on the interior to be finished before I start the suspension. One nice thing is they fab'd up the ride height so low it looks like I'll be able to get it to lay in the weeds without a step notch... After reading quite a few threads on here I've never seen one done the way this one is... the rear of the cab is mounted on the frame and the forward section has cab mounts... this gives it an unreal low stance for the body but the frame has plenty of ground clearance... Basically I'm rattling on so I'll stop for now but here's a quick cell phone pic of the truck... More to come!...
