I'm fighting with my 83 trying to replace manual window regulators and seals.
I can't get the regulator out of the door through the slot the window goes, but it looks like it'll fit through the square hole where the rod runs from the door handle to the latch mechanism.
Here's my issue, I'm afraid if I work the clip that holds that rod to the latch mechanism, it's going to be boofed and I have no clue where to find a replacement clip. And it needs that clip to keep the rod in place. And the rod blocks me from getting the regulator out.
Will need two of them as I need to also do the passenger door.
