Re: Driving around all day, then it just Died Out?

I pulled everything apart to double check my connections and I've 12V to all hot wires.
All good, but it started right up and then cut out?
Then I checked continuity on the grounds.
The ground under the Coil at coil frame had continuity, but the one on top did not.
Frame of coil is painted, so I sanded off the paint. They now have great continuity to ground.
However, now it runs but not at idle and acts like it is misfiring?
Rotor still points to #1 as tab lines up and you cannot put rotor on 180 out as it is tabbed.
What the heck did I do?
Did I ruin my Coil?
Could timing be affected by a new Coil?
