A/C O-rings

About to start replacing them all so I can vac down the system in preparation for getting it charged. Pulled out my little o-ring kit from LMC and organized them.

There are twenty-four o-rings in this kit!

Are there really that many in the system? Are any hidden inside the firewall box, or do I just follow the lines and replace them at every junction?

Are there any compression or flare fittings or should everything have an o-ring?

Thanks!
Dave

PS: If there exists a map of where they go, that'd be spanky.
