1975 Chevy Drip rail replacement
I have just bought a unbelievably clean original '75 short bed 2wd with no rust! Been looking for some time now, and I just tripped over a California truck up here. Only issue I see is the drip rails above doors are gone, all that is left are some rivet heads.
I haven't owned one of these trucks before and I wish it was so easy to remove them from my '67. I would like to replace them as I plan on doing nothing more than lowering this truck and putting it on Rally's. For now atleast it will keep its 250 6 cyl and the 4 speed. Are the drip rails just a bolt on part, or was there more to doing this as the previous owner did it. I did a quick search to try and buy these but it seems like all I can find is the chrome that slips over the drip rail, or is this chrome piece all there ever was? And how exactly were they attached? bonuts
