Looking at my first 67-72 purchase

I normally hang around the 60-66 forums but i have come across a 68 C10 shortbed. ill post a link to the ad, but what should I look for as far as problem areas, such as rust and mechanical issues. Says the passenger side fender needs replaced and that the rockers have been redone. it does run and drive, lights work, and all that. Said he will do $1850, but i was thinking somewhere between 1-1500 on it. Does have a clean title. But not sure of the market on these trucks. Id like to get it, do a tune up on it, and drive it to keep miles off my duramax. any opinions would be great. thanks
