Ash tray / Cup holder
As I am getting prepared to take the 72 on a journey from Michigan to Oregon, it occurred to me that I do not have any cup holder.
Since I work at Meritor for the day job, I drew up a sketch and had the machinist widdle out this piece of billet aluminum on the Haas CNC mill. It attaches to the front of the ash tray with two 10-32 machine screws. I did have to modify the ash tray a little and drill some holes but I figure the mod was easy to change back to original if I ever decide too. I have already thought of some improvements that will make it more user friendly but for now, it will serve its purpose just fine.
