Vacation Time, Working on My 84.
Took a week's vacation, took my K10 camping for a weekend, then started doing some work when I got back. Nothing insanely impressive yet, but I've got a lot of little things to fix and work on the make the truck a little more comfortable and look more presentable. The most noticeable thing is I got rid of that rusty, bent, black billet grille that was being held on by zip-ties. I painted and reinstalled the original factory grille. I also fixed a lot of burnt out bulbs in the gauge cluster. Now I can see everything on there, but still have to figure out how to make the speedo accurate. It's currently 15mph overcompensating because of the 35" tires that are on it. I ordered a new set of 33" mud terrain tires that should be in soon. Anyway, here are some photos, some before, some after. Enjoy, I love this damn hunk of metal......
