grs Registered User Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Roanoke, Tx. Posts: 1,561	How much oil in a 327 engine? The book says 6 qts. The 327 came with a canister oil filter. My 327 has a spin on filter. Someone changed it to take the spin on filter. It takes 5 qts then it shows full. Did the canister filter take 1 qt more?
