Thanks for the compliments Rich! You have a great blazer yourself! The bed rails are made from a fiberglass type plank. Essentially it's synthetic wood, I ran it through a table saw to get the width I was wanting. I then put a 45 degree bevel on the outward facing side. I installed threaded nuts in the plank on the underside. A lot of sanding, priming and base coat followed by clear. They also have a layer of topper tape under them to protect the bed sides. They are bolted on from underneath using the factory holes. I never put the top on but they are easy to remove. I can't wait to get the ls swap completed and get it back on the road!
