Carburetor 1967 on straight 6... need help

I have an 1967 C20 that i just bought and I rebuilt the carburetor, lo and behold the previous owner put a motorcraft carter carb on my chevy. It seems that the linkage to the throttle is different. Is there a possible way to make this work? Other than buying a new carb. Some way I have to make the throttle cable go from North to South and change direction to East to West. Is there any parts i can buy at LMC? The last image is from my friend 1972 c10 with Rochester carb. See attachments

I would appreciate anyone's help. I have been stumped on this for awhile.
