Shock question

Hey guys - first post!

I bought a project 71 Cheyenne and the guy I bought it from said that he had installed 2" lowering spindles up front and 4" shorter coil springs in back.

I tried to search on this because I know it has to have been covered a 1000 times, but I'm having trouble with the search function.

My questions are:

1. I can use the standard length shocks for the front, correct?
2. I need to get 4" shorter than stock rear shocks, correct?

Any recommendations on brand or supplier?
