I've had a Craftsman Pro 27 gallon compressor for about 2 years, and I'm having trouble with it cycling. It runs fine initially, but it struggles to crank over on the second or third cycling (the motor will hum like it's trying to turn over, until it kicks the breaker or I shut it off). It has not been through any hard use, and is not used very often, so it looks like I bought it yesterday. Unfortunately it is past its warranty period
What do ya'll think, will I be buying a new motor, or is there something I can do to help ease start up? I'm a little frustrated to have a basically new compressor that won't work reliably, and wish I could have gotten this handled while under warranty.
