Column to Floor Shift Reverse Light & NS Switch Question

I have a 1970 C10 that the PO had converted from a 3 on the tree to a three on the floor (NOT four).

He never put in a reverse light switch, and never put in a neutral safety switch.

I was thinking about getting an American Autowire harness for my truck, will I be able to rig something up for this button?

Has anyone done this before? I'm sure someone has, I just havent found it yet.

Pics would be appreciated. (Links to products would be helpful, too.)

Something I've found:
