71 frame up resto-mod - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum, been lurking around for a bit. I am currently in the early stages of a 1971 C20 frame up resto-mod. Not building a show truck, but would like it to turn heads as a daily driver. It's getting a fresh 1990 5.7l motor with TBI, a 700r4 trans, and the computer that originally went to both. Also the air conditioning from the donor vehicle as well. (Donor was a 1990 1500 Suburban.
Any pointers, advice, do's and don'ts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
