1969 C10 Duramax 8.81 @ 158
Just doing a little update on the truck. I built a new motor last winter and add three S475 turbos to my Duramax Diesel powered 69 C10. I was having problems all year with head gaskets. At the beginning of the year we were running 135 psi of boost and I could not keep a head gasket from blowing. Within the last month we put waste gates on the system and limit the boost too 100 - 105 psi and changed to a different head gasket. I went to the NHRDA world finals in Texas with the truck and ended up winning the World finals and setting a new world record in the pro-street class with a 8.810 @ 158 and backed it up with a 8.870 @ 157. I still have A/C on the truck and drive it about 1500 miles a year.
I need to thank My Wife and Kids My Parents for all the help Danville Performance for the great tuning and all the help HSP Diesel for all the fab work on the triple turbo kit Wagler Competition for the cylinder heads Bullseye Power for the turbo's Neal Chance Racing Converters for the converter to hold all the torque https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQxF5R8gdRg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdDplNwnt3c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-A8INkn5h4
