Made some progress on my 68!

I have finally got around to working on my 68 the past few weeks. I am building this truck out of mostly recycled parts just so I can tell prople who drive hybrids that they are hipocrites.lol Here is the list of used parts so far:
Engine, rebuilt 307 from a friend of mine complete with Edelbrock carb, intake and headers with 20 thousand miles for $300
Radiator, also from a friends 72 GTO that was recored a year ago for $75
Wheels and tires, Craigslist 15X8.5 Western Slot mags with good 235/70/15's $200
Painted rear sport bumper for $75
I had to to buy some new parts like belts, hoses, clutch, motor mounts, alternator, starter etc. I think I am doing pretty good on rounding up decent deals on used parts so far though.

My plans are to make this truck look like a day 2 hot rod from around circa 1975(before my time) and was parked for a few decades. Going to add a vintage sun or SW tach and guages when I find them. This truck still has its orginal paint is is very clean for a Nebraska truck. Here are a few pics.
