3M molding tape to install rear door seals?
Hi all,
I have new seals for the rear doors on the panel. These are to be glued on, which can be a PITA and messy. I was thinking about the 3M molding tape. This is the thin stuff used on late model cars/trucks to hold trim moldings on the side of the vehicle. I was thinking I could apply the tape to the door and then stick the rubber seals to that. It would make for a clean and simple install and having tried to removed this stuff before, it seems to stick really well. Has anyone else ever tried this method?
