swapping rear end in my 65

I found a 68 12 bolt. Im wondering if anyone has had any issues with the tires hitting body line when trying to lay frame. I have a 65 burb.. I'm guessing it would be the same as a fleet side? My wheels are about 10" wide. I'm running spokes with adapters. Im guess that might had a half inch at most??. Id hate to spend over a grand just to narrow the rear end a couple inches. My tires are about 28" tall. Thanks in advance.. here's a pic for attention.
