65chevysub Registered User Join Date: Feb 2013 Location: Cottonwood, Arizona Posts: 1,374	Oil filter adapter issues Is there a better type of oil filter adapter than the one from Mr. Gasket? My filter fell off today as the nipple was too far in and even though the filter seem tight, it still fell off. My engine is a 1963 283 that originally had the canister filter. Thanks
