Rear Wheel/Tyre size question

Hi all,

I did some searching on here, and I couldn't really find too much info.

My 72 c10 has (i think), a 5/7 drop, with another 3" still available in the rear with the frame C notch it has.

Here are a couple of reference pics:

All the fender wells in the rear are stock. My question, is, can I fit a 15x12 in the rear without too many mods, or is 15x10 the widest I can go on the stock frame? I dont mind cutting the rear fender tubs.

Im going to make it a 'pro street' style truck, with fat wide rear rubber, running bags super low, with tyre tucked up into the bed.

Any ideas / thoughts / suggestions / criticisms welcomed.

CHeers,

Ryan
