C1500 Suburban 5.7L Vortec Shocks

I bought suburban used and the guy left me with Eagle rims and a little wider tires 31X10.5 R15 instead of the stock P235 75R 15XL.
The ride is terrible. All suspension parts in the front are new - all Moog. Shocks 3 yrs. old. Autozone he said. No idea what brand.

My issue is I have had more than one person tell me my ride is terrible because of the wide tires. Need to go back to stock. Gas mileage not very good either. Only averaging about 10 MPG.

Thoughts?

Gas shocks the best for suburbans?
