Gear Ratio and AOD
I looked at an 85 Chevy 4x4, nice looking truck but it had a few issues.
One thing I questioned was gears, it has a overdrive automatic trans (700r4 I assume) and I asked the owner what gear ratio in the axles , he didnt know so I looked at the option list on the glove box door and it said it has 2.73 to 1. This dosn't sound right 2.75 gears with a overdrive trans. |
