Assorted parts questions-related to purchasing said parts

in the next few weeks when my truck build goes into full swing i plan on replacing some items on my engine that either need to be or im told by people in the know that should be replaced.one of the items im told by those in the know should be replaced is my valve springs.im not replacing the cam/lifters unless absolutely needed due mostly to time and to a small degree financial constraints-so since it will have a stock cam most likely is there a good brand of stock valve springs i should buy and what brands should i avoid?my uncle also suggested i buy polylocks i know for the most part what they are but where can i buy them at?im also going to buy an auxilary trans cooler-again any brands to look out for or any brand i should buy?any other tips would be great.
