88-94 speaker replacement?

Sorry if this has been covered before but I haven't been able to dig anything up.

In my 93 after 21 years one of the original dash speakers has finally given up the ghost. On the back of the speaker it says it has an impedance of 9.5 ohms and I may be no expert on auto stereo's but I do know they are a 4x6's and these days pretty well everything is 4 ohms or less- at least from what I've found. I'm running the original eq style radio and would rather not have to change it, I like the interior to look as clean and original as possible.

So as far as a replacement what are my options?

Would a 4 ohm speaker not draw power from the receiver to the point that it burns it up? or are they safe to run?

I'm just looking for something that sounds as clean the originals did but better is an option too! haha

Also, im not overly concerned with how much bass they put out, I realize they're only 4x6's, and Ive got an 8" sub behind the seat to cover that.

Any suggestions are a help.

Thanks, Joe
