4x4 center link interchage abilities.

I took my 72 to get aligned and they wont because my center link is bent. Thought about going to the junkyard and pulling one. Wondering what year they interchange?

I noticed on lmc site that 73-87 all have different ones and that the parts might be available new and local. Could I put one from these years on my 72 and make them work? Or are the spindles, or bevel for the tie rod ends different?
