Re: QuadraJet 4 barrel way too rich!!!

I'm a fan of the QJ. A common issue with them is internal vacuum leaks caused by leaking plugs. That's what makes QJs "bad" in many people's minds. The advice to get a good book is golden because the rebuild instructions generally don't cover how to epoxy the plugs. A good book will also talk about kits and what is needed. Quadrajets aren't any more complicated than other carbs and they have some big advantages...no gaskets below the fuel level, tons of metering rod options, lots of them out there, etc. Taking the rime to research will give you the best outcome. Good luck!
